Artangel and the commission by Noémie Goudal

SPLF supported Artangel’s new project, The Story of Fixity, by French artist Noémie Goudal. Presented within a railway arch at Borough Market, this three-channel installation explores water—colourless and scentless, yet powerful enough to shape entire ecosystems.

Through shifting palettes and layered imagery, Goudal moves between day and night, science and imagination, revealing landscapes in constant transformation. Bringing together painting, photography, and moving image, the work challenges how we perceive nature and its fragile states of balance.

ICONIQ Impact Women’s Health Co-LAB

SPLF joined ICONIQ Impact’s Women’s Health Co-LAB Fund, a US$100 million initiative led by Melinda French Gates and Phoebe Gates, supporting 22 organisations dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls worldwide.

The fund focuses on three urgent priorities: maternal health; sexual and reproductive health; and the fight against gender-based violence.

Sudan
UNHCR

Sudan is facing the world’s largest displacement crisis, with more than 14 million people forced from their homes since April 2023, most of them women and children.

Through SP Lohia Foundation’s flexible support, UNHCR has been able to direct resources to the areas of greatest need and adapt rapidly to the shifting humanitarian situation across Sudan and neighbouring countries hosting refugees, strengthening child protection systems by placing 67% of identified unaccompanied and separated children in Eastern Sudan and White Nile in alternative care, providing specialised case management to over 9,000 children, and supporting women’s self-reliance and education through 22 displaced-led and 28 women-led organisations delivering community-based responses.
