Prajña Scholarship programme was launched in 2023 and aims to support children of Indorama’s extended family of employees to attend top universities globally. The scholarship will cover tuition fees and living expenses for students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance.
‘Prajña’ is a Sanskrit word meaning the highest and purest form of wisdom, intelligence and understanding.
As stated by our founder, Mr S.P. Lohia, “Education is the most powerful weapon to fight poverty and social disorders.” We hope that the Prajña Scholarship programme will enable more students to reach their full potential.
Congratulations to Humoyun Umarov on being awarded the scholarship from Prajña Scholar.
In August 2023, Humoyun moved from Uzbekistan to study Computer Science at the University of Arizona.
